Welcome to Urmston Cricket Club. 2007 was another good season at The UCG. After promotion in 2006, the 1st XI had an excellent season in the Right Move Abroad ECB Cheshire Premier League, eventually finishing in joint third place after being in the top 3 virtually all season. The team also reached finals day in the 20/20 Cup.
The 2nd XI finished in mid table in their league and reached the cup semi final whilst the Saturday 3rds and Sunday 3rds narrowly missed out on title success after some consistent performances. The Over 40s team won the Veteran's Shield and promotion to the First Division of their league.
Our junior sides progressed well during a season that saw the introduction of an Under 9s team for the first time.
